Giving Back

Corporate social responsibility is a matter that’s very close to our hearts here at Plant Designs, so each year we donate our time, money, and expertise to various charitable organisations across London.

Thrive

Thrive offers therapeutic horticultural experiences and training to adults with defined social, health, or educational needs.

We partner with Thrive to bring participants on our maintenance routes, showing them how we care for our clients’ plants. This not only gives participants work experience, but helps them gain confidence in implementing the skills they have learned on the programme.

This was an extraordinary opportunity, and we hope it will be possible for Thrive to continue an engagement with Plant Designs. This is an ever-increasing area of work given the current popularity of indoor plants, and to be able to gain some experience and confidence in the field would be of huge advantage to many of our gardeners considering future vocational choices

Greenfingers

We donate a percentage of our Christmas sales each year to Greenfingers, who build gardens at children’s hospices across the UK. This gives peaceful and fun spaces to families to spend time together with their children living with life limiting illnesses. From a colourful kaleidoscope garden to a wheelchair accessible tree house, their work brings joy to children and their families at a difficult time.

None of our gardens would be possible without the continuous support and generosity of companies such as Plant Designs. We have seen first-hand the amazing impact these gardens are having everyday on the children and families who visit the hospices on a regular basis.

Blood Cancer UK

In recent years, we partnered with Blood Cancer UK to provide beautiful trees for their annual Christmas fundraiser at the Royal Albert Hall.
Blood Cancer UK works to raise awareness and provide support for those affected by blood cancer. Each year, their Christmas fundraiser raises tens of thousands of pounds to fund the life-changing work carried out by the charity across the UK.

Our partnerships with companies and organisations are vital to our life-changing work for people with blood cancer. Thanks to our philanthropic supporters, we have been able to fund world-class research.
