Covid-19 Policy

Now that’s we’re fully operational again, we’re ever-aware of the need for increased health and safety measures. On this page you’ll find a list of the steps we’re taking to ensure that our staff – and yours – stay safe.

As well as the measures we’ve outlined, we are actively following any requests made by our clients with regards to our actions on their respective premises. If you have any specific measures you’d like to discuss before we pay you a visit, please email evelina@plantdesigns.co.uk.

Government guidelines

We are staying abreast of any and all government updates, making sure that we follow the guidance provided.

Social distancing

We have implemented a strict social distancing policy in our office and showroom, with many staff still working from home to prevent overcrowding. This policy also applies to any client appointments conducted in our showroom.

When visiting client premises to perform maintenance and site consultations, our team will be adhering to the government’s recommendations to stand at least 1m apart at all times.

Face coverings

All of our staff have been provided masks and face visors and will be wearing them as per government guidelines.

Hygiene

All of our staff members have been briefed on hand-washing guidelines and are washing their hands on arrival and departure from any client site, as well as at regular intervals during the day. Each staff member has also been provided with hand sanitising gel for when hand washing facilities are not immediately available.

We have implemented strict cleaning measures in our own offices and showroom, with surfaces being disinfected regularly. Any visitors will be able to wash their hands on arrival to our premises, as well as when they leave.

Transport

Staff have been advised to walk or cycle whenever possible, and will be using our company vans when this is not feasible.

When staff members cannot avoid taking public transport, they are wearing masks and strictly adhering to social distancing regulations. We have also extended our working hours to enable certain staff who must take public transport to do so during off-peak hours.
